Through countless recordings (vinyl, CD and mostly very limitied street tapes) and even an occasional live show, Michael Psycho has been a steady though relatively obscure presence in the American music underground for the past quarter century or so. His bluntly cynical lyrics and primitive, imperfect musical approach have left some clamoring for more and others plugging their "trained" ears in disgust. But love him or hate him, Michael Psycho appears to be here to stay, and destined to carve his permanent niche into the musical landscape.
