In July of 2002, Matt Zimmerman and Todd Fadel embarked on a journey to mine the depths of soul and R&B to find some unpolished nuggets of brilliance. Three years later, they have written 15 songs that challenge the definitions of the genre while at the same time reasserting its primal directives.
